There's a place for you here.
Whether you're a veteran, a family member, a student, or a neighbor who wants to give back, here's how to be part of the Committee's work.
Join us
Attend a meeting
Our monthly meetings are open to the public. No membership is required to come, listen, and ask questions.
Become a member
Membership is open to anyone who supports our mission: veterans, families, businesses, schools, churches, clubs, and civic groups. To become a voting member, submit an application, receive Board approval, and attend a Committee meeting. All members serve as volunteers.
Volunteer at an event
Help at the Veterans Banquet, community drives, and Veterans Bridge cleanups. Setup, hospitality, and outreach help are always welcome.
Students: earn service hours
High school students and others who need community service hours are welcome to volunteer. The Committee documents your hours and provides verification.
Steps to get connected
Reach out
Send a note through our contact page or email info@littleelmveterans.org to introduce yourself and share how you'd like to help.
Come to a meeting
Join us on the second Tuesday of the month to meet the board and see current projects.
Find your role
From event planning to outreach to fundraising, we'll match your time and interests to a role on the Committee.
Can't volunteer right now?
A donation or business sponsorship keeps our programs running all year.
